Worked at Dow Chemical as a Lead Metallurgical Engineer for large and small capital projects. In this role the responsibilities included: material selection, corrosion engineering, equipment drawing review, fabrication specifications, filler metal selection, welding procedure review, fabrication shop qualification, and fabrication shop inspections. 

Also provided daily support to over two dozen operating units via material selection, corrosion studies (field and lab), equipment repair, alternate spare parts manufacture, failure analysis, repair-run decisions, hot tapping, and others.

As a Staff Consultant for Stress Engineering Services, performed failure analysis of components from the chemical, refining & fertilizer industries. Failure analysis experience is primarily of metallic components with an array of damage mechanisms. Provided experienced based material selection expertise & corrosion studies as well as metallurgical support during equipment fabrication & repair.
