In this role the responsibilities included: material selection, corrosion engineering, equipment drawing review, fabrication specifications, filler metal selection, welding procedure review, fabrication shop qualification, and fabrication shop inspections.
Also provided daily support to over two dozen operating units via material selection, corrosion studies (field and lab), equipment repair, alternate spare parts manufacture, failure analysis, repair-run decisions, hot tapping, and others.

Failure analysis experience is primarily of metallic components with an array of damage mechanisms.
